SEPULTURA Drummer To Collaborate With Hardcore Rapper NECRO

SEPULTURA drummer Igor Cavalera will be collaborating with hardcore Brooklyn rapper NECRO on a track for NECRO's upcoming release, "Circle of Tyrants".

NECRO's most recent CD, "The Pre-Fix For Death" (Psycho-Logical Records),featured guest appearances by OBITUARY members John Tardy and Trevor Peres, Danny Lilker (NUCLEAR ASSAULT, ex-BRUTAL TRUTH),Danny Diablo (a.k.a. Lord Ezec of SKARHEAD/CROWN OF THORNZ),Jamey Jasta and Sean Martin of HATEBREED, Sid Wilson of SLIPKNOT and Away of VOIVOD.

SEPULTURA shot a live DVD on April 3 in São Paulo, Brazil for a late 2005 release. The group's complete setlist for the show can be found at this location.

As previously reported, SEPULTURA are in the process of writing material for their new studio album, which is said to be based on the "The Divine Comedy", widely considered the greatest epic poem of Italian literature, and one of the greatest of world literature.

SEPULTURA's latest CD, "Roorback", was issued in North America in August 2003 via SPV Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Nation" was recorded and mixed by producer Steve Evetts (SNAPCASE, EARTH CRISIS) at Mosh Studios in São Paulo, Brazil, and was released in Europe in May 2003 through SPV.
